Raised in Central Alabama, Kainen Kellum is a country singer-songwriter whose stripped-back sound and thoughtful lyricism have earned him a devoted following. Influenced by artists like Jason Isbell, Bon Iver, George Jones, and Merle Haggard, Kellum writes songs rooted in honest storytelling, drawing inspiration from the everyday moments that often go unnoticed.
Since releasing his breakout single "Deep Water" in 2022, he has amassed more than 5.3 million streams across platforms. His song "December" earned Best Original Song at the Florence Film Awards, while its music video won Best Music Video at the New York Film Legacy International Film Festival. Before fully committing to music, Kellum famously turned down an international modeling contract to pursue songwriting.
Following a three-year hiatus, Kellum has returned with renewed purpose. His new single, "The House of the Lord," released August 7, 2026, with a full-length album to follow later this year.
